Constitution Day (USA)

September 17

Constitution Day (USA) is observed each year on September 17 to commemorate the signing of the United States Constitution in 1787. The day honors the vision and efforts of the Founding Fathers who established the framework for the nation’s government and the rights of its citizens. Constitution Day also serves as an opportunity for Americans to learn about the Constitution, reflect on its importance, and celebrate the principles of democracy, freedom, and civic responsibility that continue to guide the United States today.
