National Indigenous Veterans Day

National Indigenous Veterans Day is a Canadian day to honor the contributions and sacrifices of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples in military service, particularly in the First and Second World Wars and the Korean War. The day also acknowledges the systemic discrimination Indigenous veterans faced upon returning home and continues to highlight their ongoing service.
