Gahambar Paitishahem Begins (Zoroastrian)

September 12
Gahambar Paitishahem is one of the six seasonal festivals celebrated in Zoroastrianism and honors the creation of the earth. It is a time for gratitude, community gathering, and reflection on the blessings of nature and creation. During this sacred observance, families and communities come together for prayers, shared meals, and acts of charity, emphasizing unity, generosity, and care for others. Gahambar Paitishahem reminds followers of the importance of living in harmony with the natural world and upholding the values of good thoughts, good words, and good deeds.
